History
The area of Jadranovo has been inhabited since the Neolithic period (6500–4000 BC), with early settlements established on the Havišce peninsula's "Celo" hill. This location was strategic for defense and sea monitoring. During the 12th to 9th centuries BC, the Liburnians, a seafaring people, constructed a fort and pier here, indicating its significance as a maritime hub. In the Middle Ages, Jadranovo served as a coastal estate and port for the municipality of Drivenik. The town was first documented as "Sveti Jakov" (St. James) in a 1426 map by Iacoppa de Giroldis.?
